Polish hardcore band Ohyda gear up for their new album with new single 'Kompführer', a dark and unrelenting slice of political punk. True patrons of the Anarcho hardcore punk genre, beneath the pummelling drums and doomy riffs is a bold and urgent political message: the upcoming album Pan Bóg Spełni Wszystkie Pragnienia Lewaków… I Dojdzie Do Katastrofy! translates to God Will Fulfil All Desires of Leftists … And There Will Be A Disaster! Throughout the album band take aim at right-wing populists and pro-lifers with suitable aggression and absurdity and in particular target ultra-conservative, anti LGBTQ+ activist Kaja Godek, who has a whole song dedicated to attacking her and her dangerous, hateful ideologies (the album artwork by Dziki, features a crude rendering of Godek midway through a meat mincer). This is punk music at it's purest and it's best, righteous anger and noise as a means to protest and find solidarity.
